CAREER · TIMELINE
A record of leadership, not just a list of jobs.
Each role in my career has built on the one before it — expanding my scope, sharpening my thinking, and deepening my understanding of how marketing and communications can drive real organizational change. This isn't a listing of responsibilities. It's a progression: from learning the craft to leading strategy, from supporting campaigns to shaping the brand direction of mission-driven organizations.
I've worked across nonprofit, agency, and public relations environments, and what connects every chapter is the same through-line: using clear strategy, honest storytelling, and thoughtful team leadership to help organizations communicate with purpose. That's the work I show up to do, wherever I am.
EDUCATION FORWARD ARIZONA · DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Leading strategy at the intersection of education and community.
Director of Marketing and Communications
Education Forward Arizona
At Education Forward Arizona, I led integrated marketing and communications strategy for a mission-driven education nonprofit whose work touches the future of Arizona students. I partnered directly with executive leadership to ensure that our brand voice and communications were not just consistent — but actively aligned with the organization's priorities and the communities we served. The work required someone equally comfortable in the boardroom and the content calendar, and I brought strategy and execution together across every initiative.
I led a full modernization of our marketing infrastructure: launching marketing automation, rebuilding digital communications systems from the ground up, and building KPI dashboards that gave leadership real-time visibility into what was working and what needed to shift. Managing cross-functional initiatives across teams, I brought structure and accountability to projects that had previously operated without them — and the results showed up in the metrics.
- Doubled social media engagement within 21 months
- Increased earned media placements by 75%
- Grew email audience by 63% while maintaining a 42.6% average open rate
- Built marketing automations supporting more than 13,000 subscribers
- Directed redesign of a 100+ page website, increasing traffic by more than 50%
- Reduced campaign production time by 30% through workflow automation
- Built executive KPI reporting dashboards to support organizational decision-making

SPROLO MARKETING AGENCY · CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER
Managing campaigns across 22 client accounts while leading a team.
Content Marketing Manager
At Sprolo, I managed integrated marketing for 22 client accounts simultaneously — serving as the strategic marketing lead across a diverse range of industries. Every week brought a different set of challenges: different audiences, different goals, different creative constraints. I learned to think quickly, stay organized under pressure, and bring the same level of strategic clarity to a local service business as to a regional brand. The breadth of this role made me a sharper marketer and a more adaptable communicator.
I also led a three-person marketing team, mentoring junior marketers and building systems that kept quality consistent across a high volume of client work. My job wasn't just to do the work — it was to create the conditions where the whole team could do great work together. That meant clear expectations, regular feedback, and a culture of continuous improvement even in a fast-paced environment.
- SEO & Paid Advertising — managed search and paid campaigns across client portfolios
- Social Media — developed and executed channel strategies for multiple brands
- Website Projects — led site builds and redesigns from brief to launch
- Email Marketing — designed campaigns and managed list health across accounts
- Podcast Production — coordinated content strategy and episode production
- Public Relations — handled media outreach and press materials for clients
- Integrated Campaigns — collaborated directly with clients to align all channels
LAVIDGE · PR COORDINATOR
Where the craft of communications began.
PR Coordinator — LAVIDGE
LAVIDGE is one of Arizona's established public relations agencies, and joining their team gave me the professional foundation that informs everything I do today. Those early years were where I learned to think like a communicator — not just how to write a press release, but how to understand what an organization needs to say, who needs to hear it, and how to shape a message that cuts through. The discipline I developed there has never left me.
Day-to-day, the work was demanding and precise: building journalist relationships that required real trust, writing under deadline with accuracy and tone intact, reaching the right influencers for the right campaigns, and then measuring results in a way that actually informed strategy. It gave me an appreciation for the craft of communications that I carry into every leadership role — because good strategy still depends on good writing, and good writing starts with knowing exactly what you're trying to say.
- Media Relations — building and maintaining journalist and editor relationships
- Press Releases — writing and distributing coverage-ready news announcements
- Influencer Outreach — identifying and engaging relevant voices for campaigns
- Earned Media Reporting — tracking, analyzing, and presenting coverage results
